PRESENT SIMPLE INGLÉS PARA NIÑOS CON MR PEA ENGLISH FOR KIDS/a>

[ENGLISH FOR CHILDREN WITH MR. PEA] Present Simple Hi everyone! Hello everyone. My name is Mr Pea and together we are going to learn to speak English. Today we are going to talk about Present Simple, which is a very useful verb tense and very easy to conjugate. Are you ready and prepared? Here we go! We will use the present simple for several things. It is the verbal tense that we use to express routines. For example: I wake up at eight every day. I wake up at eight every day We use it to express general truths That is, scientific facts or facts that always happens. For example: The Earth goes around the sun. Also for permanent states that imply where we work, where we live… etc. For example. Ruth lives in Ibiza. We are going to learn to use the present simple In its affirmative form we will put the subject followed by the verb in the infinitive without the "to" In the third person singular, that is, HE SHE IT, an "s" is added at the end of the verb. That is to say, the present tense of the verb TO PLAY (PLAY) would be: I play You play He plays She plays It plays We play You play They play To add that "s" in the third person you have to follow some rules Verbs ending in Y except those preceded by a vowel change in -IES. For example, the third person of the verb TRY (TRY) will be TRIES. But in PLAY, as a vowel precedes it, it will be PLAYS. Verbs ending in X, SH, CH and SS change to -ES. For example, the third person of CROSS will be CROSSES. For verbs ending in O we will add ES. For example. The third person of GO (IR) will be GOES The negative form is formed with: SUBJECT Followed by DON’T or DOESN’T if it is the 3rd person Followed by the verb in the infinitive without the TO For example. The negative form of the present simple of the verb TO EAT would be I don’t eat You don’t eat He doesn’t eat She doesn’t eat It doesn’t eat We doesn’t eat You doesn’t eat They doesn’t eat As for the interrogative form. It is formed with DO or DOES if it is the third person plus subject, plus verb. For example, the interrogative form of the present simple of the verb TO GO (IR) would be: Do i go? Do you go? Does he go? Does she go? Does it go? Do we go? Do you go? Do they go? Let’s practice what we have learned. How would you say? I don’t drink coffee often A) I doesn’t drink coffee often B) I drink don’t coffee often C)I don’t drink coffee often And the correct answer is C)I don’t drink coffee often How would you say? Do you work at home? a) do you work at home? b) do you work at home? oc)does you work at home? And the correct answer is… a) do you work at home? And this has been all.
